Job summary

Millennium Food and Beverage & Resort, Manuels Taupō is seeking a capable Food and Beverage Supervisor to oversee retail sales and customer-service staff. This hands-on leadership role covers shift supervision, ensuring high service standards, stock control, and accurate sales processing.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong customer-service skills, reliability, and the ability to manage staff effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of relevant retail or customer-service work experience.
• A NZQF Level 4 qualification or an equivalent overseas qualification.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Experience using point-of-sale systems and processing payments.
• Understanding of stock control, inventory procedures and product presentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of retail sales and customer-service staff during shifts.
• Allocate daily duties and monitor performance.
• Assist with rostering and ensure staff coverage.
• Train and support staff in customer service and sales procedures.
• Monitor cash, EFTPOS and other payments during transactions.
• Maintain stock levels, pricing and product presentation.
