Job summary

Millennium Food and Beverage & Resort, Manuels Taupō is seeking a capable Food and Beverage Supervisor to oversee day-to-day retail sales and customer-service operations. This hands-on role combines team coordination, stock control and product presentation in a busy resort environment.

You will supervise staff, allocate duties, handle till balancing, train new team members and ensure service standards are met. The role requires flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• At least one year of relevant retail or customer-service experience.
• NZQF Level 4 qualification or equivalent overseas qualification.
• Experience supervising, coordinating and directing staff.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Experience handling customer enquiries, complaints and payments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of retail sales and customer-service staff during shifts.
• Allocate daily duties and monitor performance.
• Assist with rostering and ensure staff coverage.
• Conduct shift briefings and communicate priorities and promotions.
• Train and support staff in customer service and product knowledge.
• Handle customer enquiries and escalate complaints when required.
• Supervise POS transactions and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Maintain stock levels and assist with replenishment.
