Job summary

Greenlight Recruitment is seeking an experienced Export Airfreight Operator to join the team in Auckland. You will manage export shipments from start to finish, coordinating with customers and carriers to ensure on-time delivery in a fast-paced freight environment.

The ideal candidate has strong Export Airfreight experience with NZ freight forwarders, excellent attention to detail and communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Previous Export Airfreight experience within Freight Forwarding.
• NZ freight forwarder experience essential.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• A team player with the ability to work well under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• EDI Cargowise experience is advantageous.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client is New Zealand-owned and has a very good reputation in the marketplace, with some well-established clients. They specialise in air and ocean freight, 3PL and customs, offering professional and reliable freight forwarding services.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Export Airfreight Operator to join the team and manage export shipments from start to finish. This is a busy, hands-on role that would suit someone who enjoys working with customers, coordinating shipments, problem-solving and keeping things moving in a fast-paced freight environment.

ABOUT YOU

Our ideal candidate will have previous Export Airfreight experience within the Freight Forwarding industry, along with the following:

• Previous experience with a NZ freight forwarder essential
• Strong Export Airfreight experience
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• A team player with the ability to work well under pressure
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• EDI Cargowise experience is advantageous
