Job summary

Rotorua Duck Tours in Rotorua is seeking an energetic Driver Guide to operate our amphibious Duck vehicles and deliver unforgettable experiences to visitors from New Zealand and around the world.

This role is about more than driving; you’ll be the face of the tour, sharing stories, local knowledge, laughs, and memorable moments while guiding guests through Rotorua's lake district.

What You'll Be Doing

• Safely operating our unique Duck vehicles on land and water
• Delivering engaging and entertaining guided tours
• Sharing Rotorua's history, culture, and natural attractions with visitors
• Assisting with bookings, enquiries, and front desk duties when required
• Representing Rotorua Duck Tours with professionalism and enthusiasm

What We're Looking For

• Loves meeting and talking with people
• Is confident speaking to groups
• Has great communication and storytelling skills
• Is reliable, professional, and safety-focused
• Has a genuine passion for Rotorua and the outdoors
• Enjoys working as part of a team
• Is comfortable using email, booking systems, and basic computer applications
• Current NZ Full Driver Licence held for a minimum of two years

• Class 2 Licence
• Skipper Restricted Limits (SRL)
• Boating experience
• Tourism, hospitality, education, recreation, coaching, or customer service experience
