Job summary

Coolhouse Design Build Ltd in Auckland seeks an experienced Architect or Architectural Technician to join our award-winning practice with 20+ years in the industry. You will work on high-end bespoke residential and multi-residential projects in a collaborative studio environment.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years NZ experience, excellent English communication, strong organisational skills, and Archicad proficiency (Twinmotion a plus).

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of NZ architectural experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Highly competent Archicad skills; Twinmotion a plus.
• Strong understanding of NZ design, consent, and construction processes.
• Reliable, motivated and creative approach.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.

Jessop Architects & Coolhouse are looking for an experienced and motivated Architect or Architectural technician to join our award-winning Auckland architectural practice with 20+ years in the industry. Projects would predominantly be high end bespoke individual residential and multi residential projects.

Key responsibilities

• Producing architectural documentation across a wide range of project types and stages
• Working collaboratively with clients, consultants, contractors, and local authorities
• Working independently while contributing positively to a collaborative studio environment

About you

• 8–10 years of relevant New Zealand architectural experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Highly competent Archicad skills, experience with Twinmotion would be a significant advantage
• A strong understanding of the New Zealand architectural design, consent, and construction processes
• A reliable, motivated, and creative approach to your work
• Legal right to work in New Zealand
