We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Executive Assistant to support Isabel Poulson, General Manager Strategy, Planning and Performance, within the Regional Development and Commercial Services group. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and high-performing team, providing executive support to a senior leader and playing a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Strategy, Planning and Performance function. As Executive Assistant, you'll provide high-quality administrative and coordination support, helping to manage priorities, scheduling, meetings, correspondence, and key business activities. You'll work closely with the General Manager, anticipating needs, managing workflows, and ensuring business objectives are supported through efficient and effective administration. This role offers the opportunity to gain broad exposure across Regional Development and Commercial Services while working alongside senior leaders and key stakeholders across MBIE.
You will be a confident self-starter with excellent attention to detail, strong time management skills, and the ability to remain calm and effective in a busy environment. Previous executive or administrative support experience would be an advantage, but we're also open to applications from individuals looking to take the next step in their career and develop their capabilities.
