The Programme Coordinator is a key member of the Programme and Business Support team within the Building System Performance (BSP) branch.

We're looking for a superstar to provide high-quality support to the Manager, people leaders, and teams across the branch. This role is ideal for a proactive self-starter with strong administrative, organisational, and coordination skills who enjoys helping others succeed.

As a Programme Coordinator, you'll play an important role in supporting the smooth and effective operation of the branch. Your responsibilities will include monitoring shared mailboxes, maintaining our SharePoint site, preparing documentation, coordinating travel and events, organising workshops and meetings, taking minutes, and processing contracts, invoices, and accruals.

We're looking for someone who is not only highly capable in these areas but is also motivated to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline processes, and make things work better for our people and stakeholders.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Sound judgement and decision-making skills
  • Is comfortable working independently without needing constant direction
  • A proactive attitude and passion for getting things done
  • Organising and supporting workshops, meetings and external engagement
  • Operating and improving processes, tools and templates, and assisting project teams on the use of these.
  • Highly effective planning and organisational skills, including time management and prioritising work in a complex work environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams, Planner and Visio.
  • An understanding of government processes, systems, and tools.
