Series Investments seeks an Executive Assistant & Business Support (Graduate) to work closely with the Director across operations, tenders, compliance, contracts, and growth activities. You’ll gain exposure to many areas of the business rather than a single function.
Ideal candidates are highly organised Commerce graduates who can manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly with international teams, and adapt to new AI tools.
This position would ideally suit a Commerce graduate who is interested in business operations, working closely with an executive, and gaining exposure to a wide range of areas including tenders, compliance, contracts, business development and growth activities. No two days are likely to be the same. Working closely with the Director, you'll have the opportunity to work across all parts of the business, getting involved in everything from operations and projects to marketing, compliance and growth. It's a great opportunity to get a broad understanding of how a business works rather than being limited to one area.
We are a logistics company with a fleet of container trucks. We keep freight moving, but there's a lot more to the business than trucks and containers, which is why this role will give you exposure to so many different parts of the company. You don't need to know anything about transport when you start - it's something you can learn on the job. You'll quickly pick up an understanding of the industry, and you never know, you might even start to bore those around you with your growing knowledge of trucks.
You will also have the opportunity to work across the company’s marketing and growth activities. This will include maintaining and updating our website, managing and developing our social media presence, and helping create new content and ideas to strengthen our brand. This is a bit of a blank canvas - one of your first tasks will be to look at what we currently have, identify opportunities to improve it, and help shape where we go from there. We are looking for someone who is willing to take ownership, bring ideas to the table and have a go at new things.
Be a second set of eyes
Don't be afraid to question things, challenge an idea or play devil's advocate. We want someone who can have a constructive debate and bring a different perspective.
Jora New Zealand will close on 16th September 2026. Thank you for being with us, we are cheering you on as you continue your career journey.
