Job summary

PAK’nSAVE Queenstown, part of Foodstuffs South Island Limited, seeks a talented supervisor to support the Customer Services Manager and ensure an excellent shopping experience. You will supervise and train staff in a busy retail environment and must be available for full-time hours, including weekends.

The position requires at least six months supervising checkout or retail work handling alcohol, and possession or eligibility for Liquor Controllers and General Managers certificates.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising checkout or retail staff.
• Minimum six months experience handling the sale of alcohol.
• Hold or be eligible to obtain Liquor Controllers Certificate and General Managers Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of the checkout area, ensuring great customer service that is friendly, fast, efficient and accurate.
• Assist with team training and development needs.
• Actively promoting health and safety and food safety initiatives throughout the department.
• Ensure correct processes are followed for the sale and supply of age restricted products.
