Job summary

OceanaGold invites a University student in Environmental or Agricultural Science for a paid Macraes Mine internship in Otago. The program runs from mid-November to mid-February with a 9-day fortnight, 7:00am–4:30pm, on-site experiences and group activities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in Environmental or Agricultural Science
• Able to commit mid-November to mid-February
• On-site internship at Macraes Mine, Otago, NZ
• Full-time during internship period

Responsibilities

• Gain practical experience through diverse projects assigned by managers and team members
• Participate in group activities with other interns to understand mining processes
• Present learning outcomes to Site Management at internship end
• Assist with rehabilitation data collection and analysis as part of project work
