Job summary

Halter is seeking a driven Key Account Manager to grow enterprise dairy and beef customers across the South Island. You’ll manage large accounts, drive change, and demonstrate deep farming systems knowledge to deliver measurable value.

You will build trusted relationships with farm teams and executives, collaborate with product and sales, and shape expansion plans while traveling up to 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• Experience managing large, complex accounts and driving growth over time.
• Farmer-first mindset with ability to translate farm needs into solutions.
• Credible knowledge of dairy/beef production systems and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Enterprise Customer Success: embed in key dairy/beef customers to realise value.
• Strategic Account Management: build long-term relationships with farm teams and executives.
• Executive Engagement: collaborate with senior leaders on strategic pain points and renewals.
• Influencer & Network Management: engage rural professionals and industry influencers.
• Enterprise Growth Strategy: co-create account plans and drive territory expansion.
• Cross-functional Leadership: align product, support and sales teams to win outcomes.
• Forecasting & Planning: contribute to revenue forecasting and risk signals.
• Scalable Growth Initiatives: shape playbooks for Halter's enterprise expansion.
