Job summary

Westpac New Zealand Ltd is seeking a senior technology expert to lead the engineering delivery and capacity management for the Dynamics 365 & Power Platform ecosystem, including its Azure ELZ foundation and enterprise AI control plane. You will own the technology strategy, licensing, and governance across the platform, ensuring world‑class standards and enterprise readiness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional engineering experience in Dynamics 365, Power Platform and Azure platform management.
• Proven history of enterprise cost management, licensing rationalisation, and environment consolidation.
• Experience managing third‑party providers within a Microsoft enterprise vendor relationship.
• Proven ability to engage with stakeholders from delivery squads to CIO/executive level.
• Experience leading large Dynamics 365 implementations at enterprise scale.
• Experience with platform governance and compliance in regulated environments (APRA/SOX, data sovereignty).
• Familiarity with Azure landing zone architecture, IaC, monitoring, and ELZ concepts.
• Understanding AI control plane concepts for Copilot, agents and automation across D365 & Power Platform.

Responsibilities

• Owns and operates the D365 & Power Platform enterprise ecosystem, including ELZ foundations and AI control plane.
• Lead engineering delivery, capacity planning, cost management, and technology roadmap.
• Collaborate with Head of Product Engineering, TALs, and programme leadership to ensure the World Class vision.
• Governance alignment with ITSA controls and compliance requirements across the platform.
• Manage licensing, subscriptions, and the Microsoft vendor relationship centrally.
• Support squads with architecture governance and platform steering forums.
