Job summary

Ministry of Justice (New Zealand) seeks a Technical Product Lead to define the product development process and implement best practices aligned with the Digital Strategic Plan. You will own collaboration and productivity services, providing technical guidance on Microsoft Power Platform and related services.

You will lead a capable team, balance delivery with security and maintainability, and build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders across the Ministry.

Qualifications

• Solid technical leadership with hands-on experience across end-to-end service delivery life cycle.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Experience with software development life cycle, systems design, and enterprise architecture alignment.
• Experience in product or service support, vendor collaboration, and incident management.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external partners.
• Understanding and appreciation of Tikanga Māori.
• Solid understanding of Agile and development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Define the product development process and implement best practices to deliver towards the Digital Strategic Plan.
• Provide technical guidance on Microsoft Power Platform to the team and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with diverse teams, vendors and partners to deliver digital services.
