Job summary

MAS - Medical Assurance Society is seeking an experienced Head of Change to lead enterprise-wide change across the organisation from its Wellington or Auckland offices. You will set and execute the enterprise change strategy, oversee the Change function, and partner with executives to embed new ways of working that deliver real benefits for Members and staff.

You will manage a small team of change professionals, drive governance and reporting, and coach leaders to navigate complex people,

Qualifications

• A degree and/or recognised change management certification would be advantageous.
• 10+ years' experience in change management or a related discipline.
• Experience leading complex, enterprise-wide change across business, technology, operating model, or strategic transformation initiatives.
• Proven success driving organisational adoption of new systems, processes, or ways of working.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, coaching, and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Setting and executing MAS's enterprise change management strategy, framework and approach.
• Providing an enterprise-wide view of change demand, cumulative impact, change capacity, readiness and dependencies to inform strategic prioritisation and executive decision making.
• Delivering enterprise change outcomes and building organisational change capability to support successful adoption.
• Coaching and supporting leaders to effectively lead through change.
• Building and leading a high-performing change teams.
• Providing change insights, reporting, metrics, risk management and assurance to governance forums and senior leaders.
• Supporting benefits realisation and the successful transition of initiatives into business-as-usual operations.
