Job summary

Momentum Consulting in New Zealand seeks an experienced Change Practice Lead to establish and continuously improve change management capability across a large, complex organisation. This senior role combines leadership at the practice and portfolio levels with hands-on delivery, shaping how readiness and adoption are embedded from the outset.

You will create standards, tools and playbooks, partner with executives and delivery teams, and coach practitioners while turning lessons into practical

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience across change management, transformation or delivery enablement.
• Proven experience establishing or significantly uplifting a Change Practice or Centre of Excellence.
• Strong track record in complex digital, technology or business transformation environments.
• Experience working with senior executives, sponsors and leaders to shape change strategy.
• Excellent coaching, mentoring and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Establishing the Change Practice and Centre of Excellence.
• Defining change standards, frameworks, templates and playbooks.
• Building consistency across impact assessment, stakeholder engagement, readiness and adoption planning.
• Providing enterprise view of cumulative change impacts, dependencies and risk.
• Coaching and mentoring Change Managers and practitioners.
• Partnering with portfolio and delivery leaders to embed change into planning, governance and decision-making.
• Supporting benefits realisation through effective adoption and sustainment planning.
• Building a strong change community that encourages collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Personally leading change activities across selected complex or high-impact transformation initiatives.
