Job summary

Christchurch City Council is seeking a Change Manager in its Digital Unit to drive planning and implementation of business change, assess impacts on processes and information management, and partner with leaders to prepare for and lead change across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading organisational change initiatives.
• Ability to engage with senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Proven track record in business transformation and change workstreams.
• Strong planning and execution discipline for change activities.
• Ability to build relationships across a multi-generational, diverse workforce.
• Comfortable operating in a fluid environment with some ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Planning and supporting the implementation of business change plans
• Defining the impact of change on processes, information management, systems, technology, services and people
• Engaging with leaders and key stakeholders to help people prepare for and lead change effectively within their areas of influence
• Ensuring the success of employee adoption of the change, by using best practice organisational change management frameworks and tools to embed the change as business as usual for our people
