Job summary

Auror Limited in Auckland is seeking a Data & AI Consultant to turn complex data into meaningful insights and practical solutions. You will work with business and technical teams on reporting, analytics, data transformation and advanced analytics to strengthen decision-making.

The role involves building dashboards with Power BI or Tableau, applying SQL and Python for data processing, and collaborating across data, technology and governance stakeholders to deliver fit-for-purpose data solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation to derive business insights.
• Strong SQL and Python for data manipulation and analytics.
• Experience building dashboards/reports with Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Experience with data cleaning, ETL/ELT and data integration.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear insights for stakeholders.
• Experience collaborating with business and technical teams to deliver data solutions.
• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and modern data environments.
• At least 1 year of relevant professional experience in data, analytics or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business, operational and customer data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and data visualisations to support decision-making.
• Use SQL and Python to extract, clean, transform and analyse data from multiple sources.
• Develop data transformation and integration workflows across enterprise systems and cloud environments.
• Translate findings into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
• Develop KPI reporting and performance analytics to improve visibility of outcomes.
• Contribute to predictive modelling, forecasting and advanced analytics activities.
• Collaborate with business, data, technology and governance stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Support data quality, governance and access-control activities.
• Identify opportunities to automate reporting and analytics processes.
• Contribute to project delivery through documentation, analysis and testing.
