Job summary

Endura Mining is seeking a qualified Electrician to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical and instrumentation systems across the Snowy River processing plant and associated infrastructure. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment plant-wide, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.

This hands-on role fits a practical tradesperson in a small, multi-skilled maintenance team, willing to work across a wide range of electrical tasks and contribute where

Qualifications

• This role requires a recognised electrical trade qualification and a current practising licence (or eligibility to obtain one in New Zealand).
• Experience in heavy industrial or mining electrical maintenance and installation.
• A genuine commitment to working safely and looking out for teammates.
• Ability to work safely from procedures, permits and isolation systems.
• Flexibility to perform a wide range of tasks within a small maintenance team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical equipment across the process plant, water treatment, tailings and related infrastructure.
• Inspect, service, troubleshoot and repair plant equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform performance tests on equipment before returning to service.
• Support instrumentation and process control systems across the plant.
• Supervise and coordinate electrical contractors engaged on site.
• Complete assigned work and paperwork efficiently and accurately.
