Job summary

Bathurst Resources Limited is seeking a Fixed Plant Operator/Electrician to support the Coal Handling and Processing Plant (CHPP) at Stockton Mine. You will operate and monitor the CHPP, respond to electrical issues, and contribute to planned maintenance in a collaborative, safety-first team environment.

The role offers 12-hour rotating shifts on a 4:3 roster with relocation and accommodation support, as well as private medical and life insurance options.

Qualifications

• NZ Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) is required.
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental best practice.
• Flexible approach and willingness to contribute across the plant.
• Ability to work well in a close-knit team.
• Mining experience or maintenance/process-control background is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the CHPP to support safe, reliable production.
• Respond to electrical faults and plant breakdowns.
• Perform electrical maintenance during planned shutdowns.
• Monitor plant performance and identify reliability improvements.
• Collaborate with a small, experienced crew to ensure smooth operations.
