Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Christchurch is seeking an Electrician to join a diverse trades team delivering reactive maintenance, minor project work and planned maintenance tasks for commercial premises.

You will hold an Electrical Trade qualification with NZ Electrical License and contribute to health and safety standards, using a tablet for job dispatch and delivering high-quality customer service on site. Excellent English and a clean driver’s license are required; pre-employment checks apply.

Qualifications

• Electrical Trade qualification is required.
• NZ Electrical License with no limits is required.
• Commercial maintenance experience is desirable.
• HVAC knowledge is desirable.
• Knowledge and commitment to Health and Safety.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to learn to use a tablet/iPad for job dispatch.

Workload will consist of a combination of reactive maintenance and minor project work, but also assisting with Planned Preventative Maintenance works.

About the Role:

The successful applicant will be part of a diverse trades team comprised of Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC and Carpentry/Handyman services. The workload will consist of a combination of planned and reactive maintenance and project work. Our clients include major banks, supermarkets, and a combination of other leading NZ businesses and commercial premises.

About You

• Electrical Trade qualified.
• NZ Electrical License ‘no limits’ (Electrical).
• Commercial maintenance experience is highly desirable.
• HVAC knowledge is highly desirable.
• Knowledge and commitment to Health and Safety.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability or willingness to learn to use a tablet/iPad (for job dispatch).
