Job summary

Trade Assist is seeking skilled electricians to join a variety of commercial projects across the Auckland region. In this hands-on role, you’ll handle installation, maintenance and repair work for both private homes and commercial sites.

Minimum 3+ years’ experience and NZ EWRB Practicing Licence are required. Ongoing training, a friendly professional team, and temp-to-perm opportunities are offered. Wages range with licence level and weekly pay available.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience.
• NZ EWRB Practicing Licence is a MUST.
• Knowledge of current NZ Electrical Regulations.
• Full class 1 clean NZ driver’s licence; residency or valid NZ visa.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs across residential and commercial sites.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with local regulations and safety standards.
• Collaborate with other contractors and internal teams to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults in various settings.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction on every job.

About You

• Minimum 3+ years’ experience

• Knowledge and understanding of the current New Zealand Electrical Regulations
• A positive attitude to working in a safe and healthy manner
• Experience with Residential, Commercial, and/or Industrial projects
• Full class 1 clean NZ driver’s licence
• New Zealand residency or a valid NZ working visa
