Apprenticeships Training Trust NZ (ATT) in Nelson is seeking a motivated 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice Electrician for an immediate start. Join a close-knit team of tradespeople and gain hands-on experience across marine, automotive electrical, solar, or DC power systems.

You will progress through milestones with wage increases, receive PPE gear and a tool kit, and benefit from ongoing support from skilled tradespeople and an Apprentice and Employment Consultant to help keep you on track.

Formación

• Must be punctual, dependable and consistently on time.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools.
• Solid math skills (NCEA Level 2) and physics understanding preferred.
• Some prior labouring or casual work experience.
• Current NZ driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Clean criminal record and ability to pass pre-employment testing.
• NZ citizen or permanent resident.

ATT are seeking a motivated and reliable 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice Electrician for an immediate start.

What You’ll Need:

• You are punctual, dependable, and show up on time every time.
• You are good with your hands and comfortable using tools.
• A strong insight into the electrical trade, backed by solid math skills (at least NCEA Level 2) and preferably some physics studies.
• Some prior job experience, whether that’s labouring, holiday work, or casual jobs.
• A current Restricted or Full New Zealand driver’s licence and reliable transport to get to work.
• A clean criminal record and the ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing.
• Must be a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.

Note: Completed electrical pre-trade courses or an Electrical Gateway school placement are highly regarded, but not mandatory.
