This is a hands-on administration and coordination role. You’ll be the key point of contact for schools, managing bookings, responding to enquiries, coordinating programme details, producing reports, maintaining accurate records and making sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly.

Our schools programme connects thousands of young people with experiences across our three unique facilities. As Education Coordinator, you’ll manage all of the administration that makes these programmes possible.
Key responsibilities:
Manage school bookings from initial enquiry through to confirmation, including creating schedules, processing bookings, providing relevant information and managing any changes or rescheduling.
Act as the main point of contact for schools across all venues, providing professional and timely communication via phone and email.
Foster existing relationships with schools while proactively identifying opportunities to engage and build relationships with new schools.
Maintain accurate booking systems, school databases, programme records and calendars.
Liaise closely with Operations Managers to ensure all programme requirements are communicated accurately, and operational needs are in place.
Collect programme feedback, maintain participation data and produce accurate reports to support programme evaluation and ongoing improvement.
The role is 32 hours per week, working from Monday to Friday. The hourly rate will range from $29.00 - $33.50 per hour, depending on the successful candidates skills and experience.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys administration and takes pride in being organised, responsive and accurate.
You’ll be comfortable spending a large part of your day working through emails, managing bookings, updating information, speaking with schools and following up the details needed to keep programmes moving.
Ideally, you will have:
A genuine interest in education, youth development and creating opportunities for young people.
Strong administration and coordination experience
Confident and professional phone and email communication skills
The ability to manage a busy inbox and multiple bookings at different stages
Experience using a booking system or similar software is an advantage
Confidence learning new systems and processes
Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
Experience working within the education, youth or recreation sector, particularly in programme coordination, would be a strong advantage.
