EmployNZ in Tauranga is seeking a dedicated Youth Service Coach to join our community-focused team. You will work with rangatahi to identify barriers, provide career guidance and pastoral support to help them pursue education, training or employment outcomes.
As a full-time role, you will engage youth through one-on-one sessions and group workshops, manage a caseload, and contribute creative ideas to motivate positive change while maintaining accurate reporting and documentation.

We are seekinga full time Youth Coach to join our Youth Service team. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of ourrangatahi.
As a Youth Service Coach, you will work within a team environment and with organisations in our community to support youth to achieve education, employment or training outcomes that lead to higher education and sustainable employment opportunities.
On a daily basis you will be meeting with youth to help them reach their potential by helping them to identify and overcome barriers, influencing positive change, improved wellbeing, providing suitable career advice and general pastoral care.
The right applicant will have ability to relate to youth, be energetic, can contribute great and innovative ideas and be reliable.
To be successful you will ideally have:
Ability to connect with people of all ages and abilities through creative, exciting and highly motivational delivery methods including one on one liaisons and facilitating group workshops
Passionate about making a difference to people's lives
Enthusiasm, initiativeand drive to support rangatahi
Able to provide suitable and knowledgeable advice around goal setting and career planning
Experience in managing a caseload
Ability to self-manage and be highly organised
Strong administrative skills and computer competency
Excellent attentionto detail and accuracy with reporting and documentation
Excellent professional communication & listening skills
Must have a Full Class 1 NZ Driver’s Licence
Must pass Police Vetting
