Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora’s Waikato Hospital Emergency Department seeks a confident receptionist to join the clerical team on a fixed-term parental leave cover for 12 months at 0.8 FTE. You will deliver high-quality reception services and verify patient information with care and professionalism.

You will liaise with patients, whānau, caregivers and ED staff to ensure smooth operations, contributing to a positive workplace culture and ongoing quality improvements.

• Experience as a receptionist or in administration, preferably in a healthcare setting.
