They are expanding into international markets and need a Front End Developer to bring some of that Front End Development in house, focusing on building up internal capability. The storefront is BigCommerce, which integrates their B2B and B2C operations. The role is based at their modern premises in Westgate, Auckland, offering free parking and close amenities.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance frontend features for the BigCommerce site.
• Deliver clean, maintainable code.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, internal teams and external agency partners.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Ensure solutions are responsive, accessible and optimised for SEO.

Qualifications

• Commercial frontend developer experience with proven delivery on eCommerce projects.
• Specialisation in React or JavaScript ES6+.
• Hands‑on experience with the BigCommerce platform and Storefront API (GraphQL).
• Strong testing and debugging skills, including unit testing.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices.
• Understanding of software delivery cycles and Agile methodology.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflow and development.
