Role Overview:

In this position, you will work on the development of a secure, browser-based web portal and android apps designed for internal and external use. Your expertise will help ensure the platform is robust, scalable, and accessible, contributing directly to a critical initiative. The role also offers an exciting pathway into backend work, including API design and cloud integration.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React (preferred), Angular, Vue.js, or Svelte
• Solid understanding of modern frontend architecture and best practices
• Experience with version control and CI/CD tools including GitHub Actions and workflows
• Familiarity with code quality tooling like CodeQL and SonarQube
• Experience with testing frameworks such as Vitest, Jest, Playwright
• Knowledge of build tools including Vite, Webpack, and monorepos
• Strong CSS skills, including Tailwind CSS, SASS, and BEM methodologies
• Ability to ensure accessibility standards and testing
• API integration and consumption experience

Nice to Have Skills:

• Java backend development
• Experience with Azure cloud services
• API design and development
• SQL database knowledge

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in frontend web development
• Proven track record building scalable and secure web applications
• Prior experience in large, complex organisations is preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to start on web development tasks before transitioning into Android development
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and adapt to evolving project needs
• A proactive attitude and keen problem-solving skills
