Job summary

Harvey Norman in Manukau (NZ) is seeking an Ecommerce Merchandising Co-Ordinator to join our head office team. This full-time, permanent role focuses on merchandising our Electrical categories within the ecommerce channel and ensuring a seamless online shopping experience.

You will publish product content, optimise categories to boost conversions, manage content for launches, and use analytics to identify opportunities and report on sales.

Qualifications

• Experience working with ecommerce product data and feeds.
• Ability to optimise online categories to improve conversion.
• Familiarity with Shopify or similar ecommerce platforms is a plus.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Manukau Head Office, offering a fantastic opportunity to kickstart your career in ecommerce.

About the Role

As an Ecommerce Merchandising Co-Ordinator, you will be a key member of our ecommerce team, responsible for merchandising our Electrical categories. These include refrigeration, cooking appliances, washers, dryers, televisions, audio equipment, and more – all of which are key categories for the business. You will report to an experienced Digital Operations Manager and have many opportunities to learn and grow within the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Publish and manage product content.
• Optimise your product categories to increase conversion and cross-sell opportunities.
• Manage site content for new launches and collaborate with internal teams on supporting content such as product selectors and guides.
• Use analytics tools to identify issues and opportunities and report on sales.

About You

We are looking for a proactive individual who is comfortable working with product data and understands what makes an exceptional online shopping experience. While previous ecommerce experience is an advantage, we value a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn. Experience working with Shopify would be a plus!
