The ideal candidate will have commercial frontend experience, particularly with BigCommerce and React. This position is located in Westgate, Auckland, offering modern facilities and free parking.

Qualifications

• Commercial frontend developer experience with proven delivery on eCommerce projects.
• Hands-on experience with the BigCommerce platform and Storefront API (GraphQL).
• Understanding of software delivery cycles and Agile methodology.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance frontend features for the BigCommerce site.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, internal teams and external agency partners.
• Ensure solutions are responsive, accessible and optimised for SEO.

Skills

Frontend development experience

React or JavaScript ES6+

BigCommerce platform experience

Strong testing and debugging skills

Familiarity with SEO best practices
