Job summary

Steel & Tube Holdings Ltd in Auckland seeks a Logistics Coordinator for the AM shift at the East Tamaki distribution centre. You will open the site, assist early drivers, coordinate outward transport, and manage PODs and paperwork.

You'll work to keep warehouse, dispatch, drivers and customers aligned, maintaining safety, accuracy and strong communication in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Full Class 5 licence with clean driving history.
• Endorsed counterbalance forklift licence (2.5T-5T) is an advantage
• Gantry crane experience is highly desirable
• Strong dispatch/logistics coordination or similar experience
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Physically fit with a proactive, safety-first mindset
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft AX) and MS Office is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Open the site each morning, ensuring security and safety standards are met.
• Support early drivers with tie-downs and departures.
• Coordinate outwards transport runs.
• Prepare paperwork, monitor deliveries via E-road and chase PODs.
• Handle customer collections at the front counter until mid-morning.
