Job summary

Metalcraft Roofing in East Tamaki is seeking an experienced Dispatch 2IC / Loader on a 5.00am–1.30pm shift. The role focuses on loading, dispatch accuracy and team coordination, with scope to step up and support the Dispatch Manager during busy periods.

You will bring hands-on dispatch, loading and warehousing experience, a forklift licence, and the ability to lead others while maintaining safety and stock standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in dispatch, loading or warehousing.
• Reliable, hands-on and able to lead others.
• Able to work in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Forklift licence is essential; overhead crane experience is a plus.
• Good with customers and drivers.

Responsibilities

• Load trucks and customer vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Ensure correct products are dispatched on time.
• Coordinate dispatch team and daily priorities.
• Step up to run the floor when the Dispatch Manager is unavailable.
• Work closely with Production, Sales and Administration.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping and stock standards.
