Job summary

Air New Zealand is seeking a Capability & Development Coordinator to support Tech Ops learning and development across induction, capability programmes and early careers. You’ll coordinate planning, communications and stakeholder engagement to ensure smooth delivery and measurable impact.

You’ll work with leaders and teams to maintain records, dashboards and budgets, and you’ll explore AI-enabled efficiencies to reduce admin effort while growing capability across the operation.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of coordination, administration or programme support experience.
• Experience supporting leaders, coordinating meetings, actions, and reporting.
• Experience with induction, training, early careers, workforce development or capability programmes.
• Strong organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail; able to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
• Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable with digital tools and AI solutions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Tech Ops induction, onboarding, leadership development and capability programmes with plans, comms and actions.
• Support leadership with meetings, agendas, papers, dashboards and tracking.
• Help deliver early career and talent programmes, coordinating recruitment activity and events.
• Maintain accurate programme records, attendance and budgets; generate reports.
• Build connections across internal teams and external education and industry partners to keep activity moving.
• Identify practical improvements to programme administration and reporting using approved tools.
