Job summary

Fusion5 is seeking a Technical Support Consultant to join the Dynamics 365 CE & Power Platform team in New Zealand. You will own complex customer issues end-to-end, diagnosing and resolving across Dynamics 365 CE, Dataverse and the Power Platform, including upgrades and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE and Dataverse in complex customer environments.
• Experience across Power Platform elements: Power Apps, Canvas Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate.
• Web development experience (HTML, CSS, TS/JS) is an advantage.
• Microsoft certifications (Dynamics 365 / Power Platform).
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging and root-cause analysis skills with AI-assisted tools.
• Experience in managed services or similar customer support environments.
• Proactive, self-driven, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ownership, attention to detail, and focus on high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of customer issues from triage to resolution and closure.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across Dynamics 365 CE, Dataverse and Power Platform.
• Support upgrades, releases, and ongoing platform maintenance.
• Operate independently to minimize dependency on delivery teams.
• Provide clear, timely communication translating technical details into outcomes.
• Identify recurring issues and drive improvements and prevention.
• Maintain thorough case documentation including root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes and knowledge sharing.
