Job summary

Fusion5 is seeking a Technical Support Consultant to join our Dynamics 365 CE & Power Platform team within the Managed Services practice in New Zealand. You will own end-to-end customer issues, diagnose complex problems, and drive high-quality support outcomes for customers across Dynamics 365 CE, Dataverse and the Power Platform.

You'll bring hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, plus a proactive, collaborative approach and strong communication skills to build trusted

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE and Dataverse in complex environments.
• Hands-on experience across Power Platform components: Power Apps, Canvas Apps, Power Pages, Power Automate.
• Web development familiarity (HTML, CSS, TS/JS) is advantageous.
• Microsoft certifications in Dynamics 365 or Power Platform are preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis and proactive problem-solving in a managed services context.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of customer issues from triage to resolution and closure.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across Dynamics 365 CE, Dataverse and Power Platform.
• Support application upgrades, releases, and ongoing platform maintenance.
• Operate independently to minimize reliance on delivery teams where possible.
• Communicate clearly with customers, translating technical detail into practical outcomes.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement with proactive prevention.
• Maintain detailed case documentation, including root cause analysis and resolution steps.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes and knowledge sharing.
