Idoo Viet Kitchen and Café in Richmond, NZ is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to lead restaurant and bar service, ensuring guests receive outstanding hospitality and smooth operations across shifts.

You'll supervise front of house staff, deliver high-quality beverages, and collaborate with the kitchen to maintain service standards. The role requires NZ Duty Manager's Certificate, proven leadership, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Current New Zealand Duty Manager's Certificate (essential).
• Previous experience in both restaurant and bar service.
• Confident leading a team in a busy hospitality environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Positive attitude with strong work ethic.
• Calm under pressure and able to make sound decisions.
• Well presented, reliable and punctual.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Able to work legally in New Zealand with no employer sponsorship (essential).

Idoo Viet Kitchen and Café is a popular local restaurant in Richmond, New Zealand serving fresh North Vietnamese food, pho, and banh mi. We're looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join our team. This is a hands‑on role for someone who leads by example, thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys developing a positive team culture.

About the Role As Duty Manager, you'll be responsible for leading restaurant and bar service shifts, ensuring our guests receive exceptional hospitality while maintaining high operational standards throughout every shift.

What You'll Be Doing
