Job summary

Good Spirits Hospitality in Auckland is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to lead on-shift operations at Ellerslie venues. You will manage staff, ensure liquor licensing compliance, and oversee day-to-day bar and restaurant operations.

We value a hands-on leader who trains new team members, maintains high customer care, and works nights and weekends. A NZ Managers Certificate and 1+ years in a similar leadership role are preferred; all applicants must have NZ working rights and be 18+.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid NZ Manager's Certificate.
• Minimum 1+ years in a similar leadership role.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Able to work well within a team.
• Willing to work nights and weekends.
• NZ working visa required and 18+.

We're seeking an experienced hospitality Duty Managers to join our team in Ellerslie .

Role:

• Management of staff on shift


• Uphold Liquor Licensing laws


• Carry out day-to-dayrunning of the bar & restaurant


• Training new employees


• Stock control


• Providing the high level of customer care our company strives for


• Must be willing to work nights and weekends

We view this as a long-term position within our group and will provide coaching and training for personal growth. Starting with training plan to get you settled into the way Doolan Brothers do things.

Previous Experience:

• Have a passion for the hospitality industry


• Hold a valid managers cert for 1+ years


• Have 1+ Years’ experience in similar leadership role


• Have great written and oral communication


• Able to work well within a team


• All applicants MUST hold a valid NZ working visa and be 18 years old or over.
