Job summary

Ideal Electrical is seeking a reliable Driver / Warehouse team member in New Zealand. This hands-on role blends deliveries with warehouse duties, keeping operations active and coordinated. You will split time between on-road deliveries and warehouse tasks to ensure accurate picking, packing, and dispatching of orders.

Qualifications

• Good level of physical fitness (regular lifting involved).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Previous warehouse or delivery experience with confident driving and timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Receive and dispatch goods in accordance with procedures with attention to accuracy of delivery.
• Generate revenue by anticipating future stock requirements of customers.
• Ensure that no goods are dispatched to customer on stop credit.
• Contribute to review and control of all Ideal stocks.
• Ensure orders are processed accurately and on time and communicate any delays.
• Assist with all Branch merchandising initiatives.
• Heavy lifting, e.g. cables, drums, bulky items and pallets.

We are looking for a reliable and motivated Driver / Warehouse to join our team. This is a hands‑on, varied role combining deliveries with warehouse operations, ideal for someone who enjoys staying active and being part of a supportive team.

You’ll play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly, splitting your time between being on the road delivering products to our valued customers and working within the warehouse to ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched efficiently.

• Contribute to review and control of all Ideal stocks
• Ensures orders are processed accurately and on time and communicates any delays
• Assist with all Branch merchandising initiatives
• Heavy lifting, e.g. cable rollers and drums, bulky items (ducts) and pallet stacking
