Job summary

NXP Limited is seeking a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant based around Auckland, working primarily from East Tamaki. You will deliver to customers, load and unload, assist picking/packing, and ensure accurate documentation while representing the NXP brand with a professional, safe approach.

Hours include Mon-Thu 7:00–15:30 and Fri 5:00–13:30 with overtime flexibility. A current Class 2 licence and forklift/counterbalance licence are required; the role involves traffic in Auckland and lifting

Qualifications

• Must hold a current New Zealand driver’s licence (class 2) and forklift/counterbalance licence.
• Experience in driving in urban traffic and loading/unloading duties would be advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to operate safely and professionally in a warehouse/field environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and containers.
• Assist with picking, packing and general warehousing tasks.
• Deliver to Auckland customers and manage timely deliveries.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and brand representation.
• Complete accurate documentation and problem solve as needed.

Our business is growing and we are hiring another Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant. Based out of East Tamaki and reporting to our Despatch Supervisor, you will be part of ensuring we meet our customer commitment to “deliver the next day if your order is in by 3 pm”. Representing our company in both uniform and a branded truck you will have a reputation for giving great customer service and keeping your cool with a smile while navigating traffic in the greater Auckland area.

About the Role

Hours - Mon to Thurs - 7 am to 3.30 pm delivering to Auckland customers & Fridays - 5 am to 1.30 pm for a return trip/week to Hamilton with flexibility for overtime

Load & unload trucks & containers

Assist with picking & packing product & general warehousing

Problem solving & documentation accuracy

Maintain a clean & professional vehicle & service representing the NXP brand

About You

Clean and current, full drivers licence class 2 & forklift/counterbalance licence

Have experience & thrive in Auckland traffic

You don’t just follow – you exemplify Health & Safety best practice

Physically fit & able to lift up to 25 kgs

Can provide references showcasing your reliability & outstanding communication & customer service skills
