Ideal Electrical - Queenstown, South Island

We are looking for a reliable and practical Driver/Inwards Goods team member to join our busy team. This is a hands-on role that combines local deliveries with receiving, checking, and organising incoming stock.

In this position, you will help keep stock moving smoothly through the business. You will receive and check goods from suppliers, complete local deliveries, maintain accurate records, and support the team to keep the warehouse and yard safe, tidy, and well organised.

Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Receiving and dispatching goods in accordance with the company’s procedures and policies with particular attention to accuracy of delivery of goods from a supplier and to a customer

Ensure that goods are only dispatched with invoiced paperwork

Anticipate future stock requirements of customers

Develops and maintains customer relationships

Inwards goods receipting, ensures inwards goods match purchase order

Ensures orders processed accurately and on time and communicates any delays

Proactively reviews supply of goods for each project and manages on-time delivery of all ordered items and communicates any potential problems
