Job summary

Black NZ Ltd in Queenstown invites applications for a part-time tour guide role to transport guests along itineraries and deliver exceptional private tours. You will provide engaging commentary, maintain vehicle presentation, and ensure guest comfort with discretion and professional conduct.

The position emphasizes strong customer service, local knowledge of the Queenstown region, and flexibility to work weekends and holidays when required. Training on tours will be provided.

Qualifications

• Valid New Zealand driver's license with P endorsement and a clean driving record.
• Long term Queenstown based local.
• Professional, discrete and friendly personality and demeanour.
• Strong customer service attributes and focus.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Queenstown area and the wider region.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Prior experience tour guiding would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport guests to various locations on the guest itinerary while complying and adhering to all associated laws, regulations and company procedures
• Deliver and maintain a high level of guest service
• Provide guests with an engaging and memorable commentary on the various locations and points of interest enroute throughout each tour
• Discretely look after the needs of each guest and respond appropriately to address specific requests or issues that may arise
• Ensure the vehicle is consistently maintained in a pristine state of presentation and cleanliness throughout the tour
• Confidently represent the Black NZ brand with total discretion, absolute professionalism and complete focus on each and every guest
