Job summary

Plumbing World in Queenstown is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Driver to join our friendly team. If you enjoy being on the road, staying active, and building strong relationships with customers, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

You’ll ensure customers receive excellent service while supporting day-to-day branch operations. This permanent full-time role offers 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a competitive hourly rate aligned to experience.

Qualifications

About The Role

Our Queenstown Branch is looking for a reliable and customer-focused Driver to join our friendly and supportive team. If you enjoy being out on the road, staying active throughout the day, and building great relationships with customers, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. You'll play an important role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service while supporting the day-to-day operations of the branch.

• Delivering products to customer sites and providing outstanding customer service.

• Assisting with inwards goods, including picking and packing orders, replenishing stock, and cycle counting.
• Supporting the wider branch team with general operational tasks as required.

This role would suit someone with experience in retail, customer service, trade sales, plumbing, building supplies, logistics, or the wider trade industry. It's also a great opportunity for someone looking to step off the tools while remaining connected to the trade sector.

This role is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Specific start and finish times will be discussed during the interview stage.

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Need

• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations.
• knowledgeable of the Queenstown/Central Otago area/region.
• Good sales & customer service skills.
• Reliable with a great attitude.
• Excellent time management.
• Work well under pressure while displaying good sound logic.
• Customer Focus is a must (mainly trade related but not advantageous)
• Physically fit as there will be some heavy lifting (up to 20kgs)
• Must currently be living in the Queenstown region or within a reasonable commuting distance of the branch.
• A full, clean Class 1 New Zealand drivers' licence.
• Pride in personal appearance with great interpersonal skills.
