Job summary

Plumbing World in Napier is seeking a confident Trade Sales / Driver to join our team. The role mixes delivering products to sites with trade counter service, requiring a hands-on, customer-focused approach.

You will be physically fit, hold a full NZ Class 1 licence (forklift preferred), and enjoy working with colleagues and customers. The position is permanent, full-time, Mon-Fri with rostered Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Full, clean Class 1 New Zealand driver’s licence.
• Customer-focused approach in branch and on the road.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 20 kg.

What Your Day Will Look Like

• Delivering products to sites and building strong relationships with our customers.
• Serving at the trade counter, ensuring customers get what they need to get their day started.
• Supporting other areas of the branch as needed.

This role is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm with rostered Saturdays.

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Need

• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations.
• Good retail sales & excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable with a great attitude.
• Good time management is a must.
• Work well under pressure while displaying good sound logic.
• A customer-first mindset is critical.
• Physically fit as there will be some heavy lifting (up to 20kgs)
• Full, clean Class 1 New Zealand drivers' licence.
• A valid forklift licence is preferred but not essential.
• Pride in personal appearance with great interpersonal skills.
