Job summary

Plumbing World is seeking a Trade Sales superstar for our New Plymouth branch. The role involves serving customers at the busy trade counter, assisting with inventory and order fulfilment, and supporting other branch areas as needed.

Qualifications

• Good customer sales and excellent customer service skills.
• Administration and excellent attention to detail.
• Work well under pressure while displaying good sound logic.
• Physically fit as there will be some heavy lifting (up to 20kgs).
• Good computer skills are essential.
• Full, clean New Zealand drivers' licence.
• A valid forklift licence is preferred but not essential.
• Pride in personal appearance with great interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

About The Role

Plumbing World is now on the hunt for our next Trade Sales superstar to join our New Plymouth branch

Our New Plymouth branch is fast-paced, and has an opportunity for a bit of an all-rounder to join their team. This role is going to be busy, so you will be part of the team to keep it humming.

Day to day you will be working on our busy trade counter serving our customers, also assisting with inventory, cycle counting, picking & packing customer orders, plus helping out in other areas of the branch, there is always something to do. You never be bored!

This role could be a great fit for Plumbers, Tradies, or those from a trade background who are looking to step away from the tools while still staying connected to the industry.

Your practical knowledge and customer-focused approach will be highly valued as you help support customers and the wider team.

For the right person, this role can open the door to a range of future career opportunities within Plumbing World. This role is a permanent full-time position working 42.50 hours per week, Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays.

Specific start and finish times will be discussed during the interview stage.
