Job summary

Plumbing World is seeking a Showroom Sales Consultant for our Lower Hutt branch. This permanent full-time role (40 hours/week) covers Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays. You will assist customers, maintain displays, and contribute to a high-energy showroom environment.

Ideally you bring a positive attitude, retail or trade experience, and a team-focused mindset. We offer a competitive hourly rate aligned to experience and opportunities for career growth within a national Kiwi business.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high showroom displays and merchandising.

• Identify and track projects through the sales process.
• Physical fitness for occasional lifting up to 20 kg.
• Appear neat and professional; full NZ driver's licence is a bonus.

This role is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays.

To be successful in this role you will

• Maintaining a high standard of displays & merchandising within the showroom.
• Excellent written, verbal, listening & communication ability.
• Computer literacy, an emphasis on detail and accuracy.
• Proven record in relationship building/management.
• Identify and track projects through the sales process.
• Physically fit as there will be some heavy lifting (up to 20kgs)
• Pride in your personal appearance.
• A full, clean NZ driver's licence is advantageous.
