Job summary

Heritage Lifecare is seeking a Domestic Service Assistant for Roseneath Lifecare in Carterton, Wairarapa. This is a permanent part-time role (20+ hours per week) with AM shifts, focusing on cleaning and laundry services for residents in a warm, caring environment.

You will join a team dedicated to high standards of care, with on-the-job training provided and opportunities for professional development within a supportive organisation.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred; however, on-job training will be provided.
• Ability to work as part of a team and also independently.
• Ability to build rapport and show empathy.
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly.
• Understanding Nga Paerewa standards and Treaty of Waitangi in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient Cleaning & Laundry service for residents.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in resident areas.
• Support laundry duties and linen management.
• Contribute to a caring, positive environment for residents.

Our Domestic service assistants are responsible for providing an efficient and effective Cleaning & Laundry service for our residents at Roseneath Lifecare.
