Job summary

Heritage Lifecare is seeking a Domestic Service Assistant for Palmerston Manor Lifecare in Palmerston North. The role is permanent part-time (18 hours per week) with AM shifts, delivering cleaning and laundry services for residents in a warm, caring environment.

Our Domestic service assistants are responsible for providing an efficient and effective Cleaning & Laundry service for our residents at Palmerston Manor Lifecare. Skills & Experience

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred; however, full on-job training will be provided.
• Ability to work as part of a team and also independently.
• Ability to build good rapport with others and show empathy.
• Willingness to learn and ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly.
• Understanding of Nga Paerewa sectors standards and applying the Treaty of Waitangi standards in the workplace.
