Job summary

Heritage Lifecare’s Roseneath Lifecare & Village in Carterton, NZ, invites applications for a permanent part-time Domestic Service Assistant (20+ hours/week) with morning shifts. You will join a diverse team dedicated to high-quality cleaning and laundry services for residents in a warm, caring setting.

• Provide an efficient and effective Cleaning & Laundry service for residents at Roseneath Lifecare.

About this role

• Roseneath Lifecare is a 45-bed Care Home with a 15-unit Village located in Carterton, the heart of the Wairarapa.
• Permanent part-time (20 hours or more per week)
• AM shifts

Our Domestic service assistants are responsible for providing an efficient and effective Cleaning & Laundry service for our residents at Roseneath Lifecare. We only want the best for our clients, which is why we are seeking a reliable, helpful professional. Skills & Experience

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred; however, full on-job training will be provided.
• Ability to work as part of a team and also independently.
• Ability to build good rapport with others and show empathy.
• Willingness to learn and ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly.
• Understanding of Nga Paerewa sectors standards and applying the Treaty of Waitangi standards in the workplace.
