Job summary

Heritage Lifecare in Whanganui is seeking a Casual Domestic Service Assistant to provide cleaning and laundry support for residents across Palmerston Manor Lifecare. Shifts include AM, PM and weekends, offering flexible, as-needed work in a warm, supportive environment.

You will join a diverse, caring team and help maintain high standards of cleanliness and comfort for residents, with on-job training provided and opportunities for professional development within a leading New Zealand aged care

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred; however, full on-job training will be provided.
• Ability to work as part of a team and also independently.
• Ability to build good rapport with others and show empathy.
• Willingness to learn and ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly.
• Understanding of Nga Paerewa sectors standards and applying the Treaty of Waitangi standards in the workplace.
