Job summary

Heritage Lifecare, operating Broadview Lifecare in Whanganui, is seeking a casual Domestic Service Assistant to provide cleaning and laundry services for residents. The role includes AM, PM and weekend shifts, and offers a supportive environment focused on empathy and high standards of care.

You will work as part of a welcoming team, with on-the-job training and opportunities for career development within New Zealand’s leading aged care provider.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience is preferred; however, full on-job training will be provided.
• Ability to work as part of a team and also independently.
• Ability to build good rapport with others and show empathy.
• Willingness to learn and ability to pick up new systems and processes quickly.
• Understanding of Nga Paerewa sectors standards and applying the Treaty of Waitangi standards in the workplace.
