Job summary

ASB Bank is seeking a Head of Data & Business Excellence to lead a cross-functional Data & Business Excellence team within Personal Banking. You will shape the simplification agenda, driving process improvements and data governance to boost productivity and customer value.

You will oversee data quality, governance, records management and risk controls while collaborating with Technology, Enterprise Data & Analytics and Enterprise Operations to deliver strategic outcomes.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in strategy, transformation or delivery.
• Experience with business process management or process transformation.
• Experience or strong understanding of customer data as a strategic capability.

Responsibilities

• Build operational excellence into how Personal Banking manages processes, workflow and data.
• Lead the simplification agenda and identify where work can be stopped, automated or centralized.
• Strengthen customer data management, governance, records management and controls across Personal Banking.
• Partner with Technology & Transformation, Enterprise Data & Analytics and Enterprise Operations to deliver shared outcomes.
• Ensure risk controls and compliance are embedded in the team’s operations.
• Contribute to a positive, high-performing culture within the Strategy, Transformation & Operations leadership team.
